I have long enjoyed hard boiled eggs and I use them in tons of different dishes. One of the most frustrating problems that people have is how to remove the shell from the egg once you have boiled the egg.
Well this instructional video will help you to make perfect hard boiled eggs every time.
Instructions:
1 dozen eggs
4 quarts of water
Bring the 4 quarts of water to a full rolling boil then carefully place the eggs into the water being careful not to crack the eggs, bring the water back up to a full boil and then set timer for 13 minutes. While you wait for the eggs to boil prepare a large mixing bowl with 6 cups of water and 4 cups of ice to make a water bath. Once the eggs are ready gently place the eggs in the water bath and set timer for 7 minutes. Remove the eggs when time is up and tap the bottom of the egg on the counter top then roll the egg gently back and forth on counter and watch the egg shell easily slip right off.
*The reason for the water bath is to stop the cooking process.
