Laundry is a subject that most people would rather not talk about, but it still needs to be done!
I am always trying new ways to get my clothes clean while cutting back on the amount of chemicals used when doing laundry.
I am excited to share with you a new detergent recipe I’ve found that gets the job done and makes my clothes smell amazing. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
Ingredients
2 boxes of Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soap
1 Box of Borax
3 bars of Fels-Naptha soap (grated) — I do it in my blender
2 containers of OxiClean
2 cups of baking soda
2 bottles of scent booster or 100 drops of your favorite essential oils
Instructions
Blend the bar soap in the blender with the washing soap. Do it in batches before mixing it with the rest of the ingredients. Use a large glass container with a lid to store it in.
And voila. There you have it. A homemade laundry detergent that will make your clothes smell amazing. Happy laundering!
